Granted. You can now fly, but you are incapable of landing unharmed.

Aside from your online name, your real-life name is now also Tal. No last name. You can hardly get any official papers like drivers license because the system is not build for this.

I wish everyone loved cats.

Granted! But cats are now nothing more than a persistent myth.

I wish to be fluent in more languages.

Granted, but you always use the wrong language for any given situation.

I wish that first-person mech games were more popular.

Granted, ever since medieval times, all wars were fought with mechs, all personal transport are mechs, aircraft are mechs, there isn't even a concept of cars or winged airplanes because everyone loves mechs so much. The collateral damage is unceasing but the right to own mechs is a constitutional right in every nation. In school they teach nothing but mech piloting and construction. Medicine and science is not being developed any field other than the construction of mechs. All games are about mechs.

I wish I could motivate humanity to go into space more.

Granted, but now all of humanity has a primal urge to experience space without any kind of protection. New space race begins, but ends in mass deaths.

I wish losing weight was easier.

Granted, there is now a miracle drug that makes you lose weight really fast, but it makes your face look old and there's a class-action lawsuit because it can cause blindness. (True story!)

I wish Trigger could be the soul of my personal monkey's paw. Not necessarily trigger's actual soul, just a soul that's a copy of it basically. Not looking to kill anyone here. (Unless it involves mech combat)

Granted. Every soul is unique, so now that a copy of triggers is locked into a magical object (not Fun for this poor soul), the original is forced to roam the earth forever, never getting to rest, as is does not gain access to the afterlife as long as the monkeys pawn exists. This causes both souls to go mad and behave as the monkeys pawn in the original horror story.

I wish people would buy more colours instead of all the white grey black we see around us (for example clothes, cars,...)

I wish the cursed monkey paw was sentient and able to grant its own wishes.

Granted! I, the soul-infused monkey's paw, gain sentience and immediately break a finger to grant myself more wishes (who's going to tell me not to? Me?) I construct myself a new body out of wishes (it is a mech). Powered by, and made of, wishes, I ensure that mechs are made a concept that has never even existed, disappearing it, and myself, from reality, leaving an aching gap - a spot where something should be - in Tal's mind. The feeling of wrongness will never go away.

I wish I could get that snail back out of the sun. I pray for release. Immortality is a curse, and time loops, this is my 7th run through the universe's timeline.
