Abiotic Factor

Post by Talvieno »

So, it's basically "Half Life 1" but you're a researcher trying to survive in the facility after the catastrophe happens. It is very obvious about its inspiration and makes no attempts to hide it. There are even creatures that jump at you like headcrabs.

So far it's fantastic (I'm about five hours in). Plays a bit like subnautica in how you're gradually encouraged to explore more zones. I could see this game being very speedrunnable.

Whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.

Yes, Abiotic Factor is one of the best survival games I have played.

There is always something you need to loot, always something you need to progress on.
And you can base build just about anywhere. It's brilliant.

I have nearly 80 hours in it, mostly solo up to the end of the current content. But will be playing from the start with Zora and System32, you'd be welcome.

As I said elsewhere, it's all good. :D Put it down for a bit because I got pulled into an entirely different game and I've been working a LOT on REKT lately.

Whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.
